Sunset

The sun sinks into the ocean

Quenching its thirst

The sky ignites, casting a soft red glow

The fiery day done, fierce embers remain

Angry red clouds in hot pursuit of the dusky sky

Frantically chasing away the day

A promise of magic is in the air

The daywalkers retreat,

And out come the night creepers

Soon darkness will fall,

Hiding predators and all
